Pathology Services

Before starting your project and submitting samples, please contact Dr. Sue Knoblaugh to discuss the goals of pathologic analysis, research questions posed and types of analyses anticipated. The following list summarizes the types of services provided.

• Description and interpretation of gross and microscopic lesions.
• Gross and microscopic imaging.
• Assistance with phenotypic characterization of transgenic mice.
• Semi quantitative lesion analysis.
• Consultations on experimental design, sample collection, fixation, stains, and immunohistochemistry. See Experimental Histopathology for more information.
• Assistance or collaboration in manuscript preparation (lesion description, data summary and interpretation, image production)
