Moving Beyond Cancer to Wellness What: On Saturday, June 14th, 2008 the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center Survivorship Program will host its second annual Moving Beyond Cancer to Wellness educational event.

The event will feature keynote speaker Linda Armstrong Kelly, mother of Lance Armstrong the seven-time winner of the Tour de France and cancer survivor.

The event will also offer breakout sessions led by experts in the fields of nutrition, complementary/alternative medicine, physical therapy, fatigue, pain, relationships/sexuality, insurance rights, survivorship research, cancer genetics, emotional adaptation and cognitive function/memory.

The event will commence at 8am with registration and check-in and the keynote speaker will begin at 9am.

Where: The event will be held on the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center campus.

Check-in will occur in the Thomas building. On the day of the event parking is available in any surface parking lot.

8am: Registration, continental breakfast

9am: Keynote address, Linda Armstrong Kelly

10am-12pm: Breakout sessions (choice of three)

1pm: Lunch
