Fundraising and Support Activities
With the support of a variety of fundraising activities, Hutch Kids is constantly seeking ways to enhance the lives of our children and staff: extra-curricular dance and music activities, continuing education reimbursement program for the teachers, and staff appreciation fund that seeks to ensure that Hutch Kids continues to draw the most qualified and committed child care personnel.
Current families, alumni, and friends in the community are encouraged to help these efforts by participating in one or more of these fundraising efforts:

Classroom "Want" List
The Classroom "want" list was created in response to parent inquiries of classroom and curriculum needs at Hutch Kids. Each classroom team leader has compiled a list for current needs in their area. Click here to view the current list of wanted items.

FHCRC Logo Items

High-quality FHCRC and SCCA logo items are available for purchase. Browse a sampling of the merchandise at the FHCRC logo cart, located across from the coffee bar in the Weintraub building, or for a more complete listing visit the Logo Cart Online.
All logo items can be purchased via the online site, www.fhcrcstore.org, at regularly scheduled logo sales events, or by contacting Nancy Myles at nmyles @fhcrc.org or (206) 667-5983. Proceeds pay for continuing education and training for the staff members at Hutch kids.

The Hutch Kids Child Care Staff Enhancement Endowment
The Hutch Kids Child Care Staff Enhancement Endowment was created in 1999 with the goal of enhancing the lives and careers of the teachers and staff. Over the last few years, additional individual donations combined with positive earnings growth have increased this fund and, as of 2004, allowed the Board to use the accrued interest of the fund for its intended purpose, disbursed annually to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week each May.
Donations to this tax-deductible fund are always welcome. If you would like to participate in this worthy endeavor, please send your check, payable to The HKCC Staff Enhancement Endowment to
